I just finished reading a blog about Justin Timberlake’s new movie Alpha Dog. I was offended by some of the comments I read about the status of Justin Timberlake portrayal of street gangster, The blog preferred to him as a white street gangster which confused me, because Justin is white, If he were to play a Black, Asian or Hispanic gangster I would have understood why reference that the gangster is white. The blog goes further to describe Justin’s look as a slaveboy haircut (S & M terminology, hopefully) with tattoos and gold platted teeth. A “Bottom Feeder” was the term used to describe the look.
Street gangsters comes in all color. Stating that Justin was playing a white ganster was a bit condescending. A street gangster is just that, a street gangster. The reference to the haircut as slaveboy went further into racist territory. His haircut could have been scribe as a near bald cut. I might be a hyper-sensitive queer. Read the article from Nightcharm (a blog, I love, by the way) and see if my panties are in a not.
I do remember Justin looking all handsome and innocent. To steal a line from his ex-girl “I’m (he’s) not that innocent” Justin is trying to shed that next door neighbor look and persona. He is a man and looking to be treated as one. He doesn’t always want to be seen as that young man from that boy group. Taking roles (which it is) that tarnish that innocence persona is his way of growing up. Justin is very young and he will actually grow up to be a very handsome man. I’m looking for ward to seeing Alpha Dog, Starring Justin Timberlake and Bruce Willis.

Keep quiet or don’t get any money! It’s been reported that Eddie Murphy wants ex-wife Nicole to sign confidentiality contract. What does he want to be kept secret? His misconduct or “Good Samaritan” act may lead to future complications with his divorce. Eddie Murphy was pulled over by the cops in 1997 for picking up a known transvestite in a high prostitute area. In a recent interview, Nicole’s explain her confusing and dismay of the incident several years ago.

American Idol Gay Factor. Since the show creation there always been contestant that we assume are gay. Year two, we all knew that Clay Aiken was the new poster child for the cause. I even believe Ruben could have been swinging that way too. Year three, had some gayness tossed about. I always wanted the sexy football player Matt Rogers turned singer to be a team player. The whole metrosexual thing is a bit confusing to this old fag. Are you or not! George Huff was friendly. Season four I didn’t watch as much. There were a lot of rainbow flying in the pre-auditions. Mario Vasquez disappeared before season four could get going full steam. Well, what’s the flavor for this season? The extremely handsome Ace Young is my choice for this season gay alert. When he was compared to George Michael, I almost lost it.

The rap star Eminem divorces his wife for the second time. It leaves this blog to believe there is an underlying truth that Eminem has to face. There were rumors about his sexuality before. Check out his pretty wedding picture. He seems to like to perform in drag in his video (just saying) He also performed with the advocate for gayness, Sir Elton John. The rapper vocal bashing of homosexuals is the old, talk about them, so they don’t talk about me approach. This blog has no proof of the rappers sexual orientation. I hope he doesn’t think having a child, makes you a heterosexual. I have dated several fathers in my life time. It’s just my Queer Slant.

Brokeback Mountain comes home in the latest DVD from Focus Film. The Queer Slant on a love story of two ranch hands that finds friendship,then a unventional relationship. The beautiful directed movie by Ang Lee (Wedding Banquet) explores life for these men during a time in American history , when the thought of two guys living together carried strong connations and consequinces. The tale of true love lastings years is heartwarming movie. The double lives and acceptance is the main underlying theme of the movie. What are we willing to sarcifice for true love. Is the movie groundbreaking? No! It is however a new light on a subject middle america refuse to see. Love has no color, no gender. Loves' only purpose is to satsify its own need. The hard debate of gay marriage isn't apporach, but acceptance is. Watch the movie if you haven't already and come away with the knowledge that love is pure between consenting adults.
